Vivo Fashion Group Joins Ibuka Program: A Promising Step Towards Growth

On Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 Vivo Fashion Group achieved a significant milestone by joining the Ibuka Programme, an initiative by the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) tailored to support companies on their journey to the next stage of growth. This strategic move marks a significant step for the leading East African ladies' fashion brand as it seeks to harness Kenya's capital markets to achieve its vision of seeing "Africa dress herself and dress the world". The vibrant event took place at the NSE and was a day filled with celebration.

The Ibuka Programme: Nurturing Growth and Innovation

Established by the NSE in 2018 the Ibuka Programme seeks to support companies like ours reach their next stage of growth by preparing them to raise capital and be investor-ready through various capital market options available at the NSE. The program is a launchpad designed to guide businesses through various stages of incubation, acceleration, and exposure to expert advice to ultimately reach new heights.

For Vivo Fashion Group, joining the Ibuka Program is a significant step towards realizing our commitment to contribute to the broader fashion business ecosystem. After all, our mission is to “Create economic opportunities in Africa through fashion”, and the Ibuka Program serves as a platform for Vivo Fashion Group to fund our expansion efforts and achieve our mission.
